DNS Configuration Alerter

We need a service that will run on a Linux operating. The purpose of the service is to alert us to any changes in our DNS configuration. We will setup the domain name in the system. We will enter details for the name servers the domain name should be hosted on. for example [login to view URL] name servers = [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] The system will check these records are correct by querying the root dns servers. it will check to see if there are any. additions / deletions / changes. The program will insert a record into an audit table to say it had done the check. the date time etc. if a discrepancy has been found, it will insert a record in a table for the domain name with all the details expected, found , server name date time etc. Another process will connect to each name server specified in the name server list and compare list of expected records with actual records found on the server. it will create an audit record to say it has done the job and any discrepancies found. The system must be able to handle all types of DNS record types and check all possible fields in the record for changes. The data base will be MYSQL. There will be separate Databases for the configuration and audit records. Backup text log files must be provided containing human readable data for debug and audit purposes. you will be provided with a Linux machine centos or Ubuntu to install the software on. you will provide an installation manual to allow us to reinstall the software if necessary. the test installation to the manual by our engineers will be part of the signoff process.
