Attendance Manager

The project involves the development of a Attendance management software where in the logs are imported from a text file being generated by a Rf card/ Biometrics based machine. The software should have a client server architecture in which multiple users can access the database and form level rights are to be assigned to variopus [login to view URL] software should support multiple shifts with fixed or rotating shift being assigned to each employee seperately. The employee who is assigned a rotating shift can come in any shift and the software should automatically assign him the shift in which he has come. (The machine log just gives the Employee ID, date & time stamp for each employee without specifying whether the employee is moving in or out. The shift assignment is to be done on the basis of the logs available. All statutory reports required by the government of India need to be generted to be biewed on screen as well printed. The software should handle the leaves as well. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The software should support all commonly used OS's like Windows XP, Server 2000, Windows 98 etc. The code is to be written in VB.net with SQL as backend and should be as per the standard coding conventions(i.e all functions should be explained clearly in English)
