Data Entry / Data Mining

1.) Populate all fields of the spreadsheet with information. You may need ton consult various resources to find the information.
* Contact information can be found on the company’s webpage. I suggest searching for the companies on google to find the homepage.
* In addition, history about the firm will most likely be available on their homepage as well. It will take some researching to find the information.
* Information about each firm’s biggest deals will not be directly available on their webpage and may require searching through google.
* Descriptions about the corporate culture are not listed directly online, it will require searching on google and developing a “feeling?? of what the corporate culture is at that firm. Examples include: Is it a team-oriented environment or is it very individualistic.
* For the hedge funds, strategy refers to the type of investment strategy they take. Examples include: Long/Short equity positions, convertible arbitrage, market neutral. For hedge funds this information may require searching around on google.
2.) For the news portion of the spreadsheet there needs to be a macro that can be run periodically to download recent information about the firm’s performance and recent deals. The information will be easy to find on each firm’s webpage.
* The language this macro is developed in is not important.
Please let me know if you need any clarification on any points in this project.
Thanks.
