Apple remote desktop for mac uses ports 3283 (udp, net assistant) and 5900 (tcp, vnc) to remotely control other mac computers. The vnc part is for display purposes, port 3283 does the real work - 'command and control' of the remote computers operating system. Screen shots of what the apple remote desktop manager can do are included in the bid. What i want is a windows client that has: a. VNC server running (the easy bit!) b. The ability to accept and execute commands sent to it from the Apple remote desktop controller from port 3283 to the same port on the windows pc.. (see screenshots) I have absolutley no idea if the above is at all feasible and cannot provide technical details (I am only the user!) but am willing to help as far as possible.
