Develop a user interface to mimic the autocorrect function for use with any MS Windows applications.? The user keys in an abbreviation? to STDIN (keyboard, keypad) and a table (database) lookup is conducted to find the keyed in data.? If a match is found, the developed program then sends the corresponding output? result (word or phrase) to STDOUT (screen) thereby replacing the keyed in abbreviation.? The lookup must account for mixed case searches (ie 'doc' <> 'DOC' <> 'Doc' <> 'doC').? Searching for the? 4 different phrases? would result in? 4 different records being found in the database.
Input? ? Output
wu? ? ? ? ? ? would
cu? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? could
tt? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? that
ts? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? this
Whatever window has the input focus would have the result of the table lookup? replace the text that the user had keyed at whatever location (object/text box...) has the focus.?
