Challenge: Coding a really good PokerBot

OK. This one requires both, an experienced coder as well as someone knowing about Texas Hold'em. Because I don't. Sounds odd - doesn't it?! But wait: Getting no place these days without stumbling over someone refering to texas hold'em finally got me curious, too. I read a little here and there and ended up in the interesting discussion about poker bots. There's a hell of crap out there. Pardon my french. And there are also promising helpers like [url removed, login to view] and calculatem.com. I am a big fan of automation. So there must be ways to build a bot that works well. I am not speaking of ridiculous claims like earns thousands of dollars daily. But there is money to be made. Can you provide a solution that plays automatically in a decent manner? A bot that calculates like the wind and plays out the average Joe? Again: YOU should know more about coding AND Texas Hold'em than I do. But that isn't the challenge. You should also be familiar with bots themselves and ideally coded one before. At the end of this project we should be able to test the software with a consistant profit. Successful testing is part of the project! Interested? Let's beat all the bogus bots out there and deliver some quality. You should deliver a fully functional (at least 60 day) demo version for testing purposes. Best, Jens
