**Clone of MetaStock 9.0 (End of Day version) in C# version 2.0.**
<[login to view URL]>
I will purchase and provide the best .NET charting and UI components (trees, grids, etc.). You will not be required to implement charting from scratch, although you will have to add some functionality to the charting source code.
The application must support Plug-Ins and Add-Ons. All advanced charting features must be supported. Data management is required, but the downloading feature should work with free data sources like Yahoo also. All other MetaStock features are required. However, we will divide the work into segments so not all features have to be finished at the same time.
A bonus is available if you can achieve compatibility with official MetaStock plug-ins or add-ons.
Your bid **must** include a sample of your recent work in C# showing the following things:
1. use of async delegates.
2. threading code where you manage synchronization.
3. a strategy pattern (see GOF)
4. an abstract factory (see GOF)
5. a singleton
6. a win forms progress bar that can show progress of an operation running on another thread.
7. code showing you know how to use generics (past C++ work is ok).
_**The above samples must be submitted with your bid or your initial inquiry.**_ I am not requesting anything proprietary. Each of the above items is common knowledge. I expect anyone able to work on this project will be able to provide sample code that is free of flaws or errors.
**VERY IMPORTANT:
** - We will give an extra bonus for highest quality work.
- We will give you the opportunity to work on future projects.

* * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Tuesday Jun 28, 2005 11:58:01 AM:
It is unfortunate that I have to inform you that this project is being delayed and possibly cancelled. My client who asked me to start the project has delayed it. He is telling me he still intends for me to do the project. For now, I am cancelling this project on RAC. I will have to wait until he gives me the OK and then I will reinstate the project on RAC and notify you. Thanks for your interest and I apologize for the delay.
