The 2 databases belong to different accounts on the same server (shared hosting). The cron job will run 3 times a day. Our clients have their own domain with administration (for adding products, categories, e.t.c.). We are developing a portal site that will work like a local business directory, in which each client will be able to upload his/her own products from their site. What we want is for our clients to be able to decide whether they want their product published on the portal site from within their own administration system. For example, let’s suppose that a client has a site A and the portal site is B. We want to give them the ability if they add/edit a product (using a php form from their own administration system A) to check a checkbox (√), and then this particular product will be published to the portal site B. So there will be 2 mysql databases. One for the site A that will have a table to store the product details, and one for the portal site B that will have a table to store the client ID and product details. The purpose is to copy data from database A to database B, and if the user decides to unpublish the product (unchecks the checkbox on the form) the product will be deleted only from database B. We are providing the html forms to help you realize what we want exactly. I send you the database file from the client site.
