Classifieds Project

Classifieds website needed. Need an entry page that allows users to enter an ENGLISH language version of the site, or a CHINESE version of the site. You will NOT be required to do a CHINESE VERSION of the site. HomePage: Anyone can browse the site without the need to sign up. There should be a simple top navigation bar to include SearchPage, Recommended Page, LinksPage and a Search Text Field; with a side navigation bar allowing users to browse various Sub-Categories. (The navigation bars need to be created using simple HTML so that categories can be altered easily. Instructions should also be written so that any alterations made to the navigation categories will also instruct Site Administator what needs to be changed in the MYSQL Schema). The HomePage should display the top 10 newest Listings, top 10 Latest Updated Listings, and a random selection of 18 Listings with each displaying the Product Name and Price with one thumbnail of the Product. The HomePage should display 18 random products, with Newest Listings and Updated Listings as single text lines. Users: Needs User section allowing Users to sign up. Users will need to be approved by Site Administrator before they can upload details to the site. Upload categories should include a Name of product, Product Description, Price, Start Time, Finish Time, JPGs (maximum size 500kb), Age, Locations(Hong Kong and China Cities), Size, Address, Contact Number, Email. However, categories can be NULL; any NULL categories simply will not be output in the listing. Categories will be chosen via drop down menus, unless the require text input such as full Address. Admin:One Super-User need to be assigned, with ability to create other Super-Users. Super User can Activate and De-Activate listings, or Delete Listings, Edit Listings, Upload/Edit Images, Assign Marks to the Listings (used for Recommended Page). Design of the site should be CSS based, allowing changes to site design. Bidders are required to have a working demo already; you are also required to fully install the site and database within 30 days of assigning the task. A backup of the site script, including images, need to be emailed to me. Payments will be made in two installments, one to start the project, with the final payment to be made 14 days after full installation of the working site with a hosting company.
