Hello, I'm looking for someone to implement a simple Android app that displays a list of local shops nearby based on the current location. Tapping on an item will open Google Maps, integrated as a container, with the marker of the corresponding shop centred.
The first screen should contain 2 tabs: One tab should contain the list of 30 shops returned by Google's API (e.g., restaurants, bars, cafes, etc.), the other tab should contain the list of 10 most recent shops selected by the user. Each item in the list of shops should contain 3 lines: 1. Name of shop; 2. Address of shop; 3. Distance (in metres) between the shop and the current location. Holding on an item in the recent history triggers a popup of an option for displaying the shop as a marker on the integrated map.
This is a trial project as I am looking for high-quality out-of-the-box developer for a long-term relationship. I am looking for quality Android developers who can provide me with a portfolio of work. All bidders should provide a description of his/her approach.
Thanks
Happy bidding!
