I am an experienced Web professional interested in helping you with your project.
I looked at your website to get a better understanding of your company. I also googled your company.
Two things jump out: You have a very, very low webranking and secondly you don't seem to do any web advertising. You're burried under your competition's ads. We need to change that.
This project is a pretty good sized undertaking and would need at least 2-3 weeks worth of work.
You also seem to have very few reciprocal links. This is not good.
There is no silver bullet answer to raise your visibility and increase your profits.
On the web side of things, you need to raise your visibility.
You need a multi-faceted approach. The program I would follow would be:
1. Raise your search engine ranking by submitting your website to at least 1,000+ search engines. (You currently are not even ranked in MSN and Yahoo!)
2. Create a reciprocal link program. This is big. I ran you through a few programs and it looks like you have only 42 reciprocal links out there! Not good. You need as many as you can. I would do as many as possible in three weeks. We need to get your web site out there and linked up with as many other sites as possible.
3. Work on your keyword and metatags. I did not check to see what they are in your source code.
4. Press releases submitted to as many of the free press release services (and maybe a few pay services) is a great, free way to raise your visibility and get your company name out there. I would write and circulate press releases to as many free services as possible.
5. Word of mouth advertising--visiting chat forums, bulletin boards, and online groups where people congregate to talk about health, prescription drug prices, and help to get low cost prescription drugs, as well as forums for the aged and the low-income individuals who need an alternative to get their medication. We want people talking about you or at the very least, know you exist.
6. Tooting your own horn. We need to see how you rank against your competition (I'm sure you are aware that you have a lot of competition) and playing up your strengths and exposing their weaknesses. You have to exploit your strengths and downplay any weaknesses(Ease of ordering, ease of website use, speedy shipping, availability of product, and of course savings.) I would have to look more indepth at your site, and again we would have to see how you fair against your competition to determine exactly what to exploit.
The bottom line is you need a comprehensive program to get your visibility and your sales up.
I would also like to analyze your website to see what you can do differently there to gain some attention. One feature you have that you should play up is knowing the top drugs that are sought after. There are some things we can do with that information to draw more traffic based on what people are out there buying.
So, there are a lot of things that need to be done.
I can work on this project aggressively for three weeks.
