Hi all,
I am after someone who has extended experience in Python, Nmap, and TCP/IP networking to improve a Nmap script. I DO HAVE THE SCRIPT. I need to tune it up!
The script takes some arguments and performs different port scans and records the results in a CSV file and it has a few different scan and reporting options.
This is a fully working script, but still, needs to be improved.
- Some port scan results take quite a long time, needs to be investigated.
- Need some additional options or change the current ones to make the script more efficient.
- Have a large network to scan, that's why It forces me to run the script from multiple machines(VMs), and it makes the reporting part a bit frustrating.
I need another script which will read the CSV files and record into a Database, preferably (MSSQL), and able run some queries against the DB (compare the last two scan results and show the difference).
And always open to better ideas/approaches if you have different improvement solutions.
Once I accept the offer, I will provide the script and ask your opinions.

To be awarded, provide the text of a simple python script that takes two arguments (port range and destination) then runs TCP-Connection scan, and it must be multi-threaded. This will show me that you know what you are doing. I receive too many automated bids and need to filter these people.
I stress that to be awarded you must provide above. Otherwise, you will not prove your ability to give me confidence.
It will take you 20-30 minutes to do this if you can match my requirements and whoever does this properly will get the job. I believe I have outlined everything you need. I am happy to provide a bonus up to 10% depending on the quality of work and improvements.
