have a degree in architecture from UC Berkeley and am currently in the process of transitioning from architecture to industrial design. For modeling, I typically use Rhino3D and for rendering I exclusively use Vray. I use these programs because they're top of the line, but I'm adept at virtually all the upper-echelon modeling programs. I'd honestly have a better idea of how much to charge for this if I had an idea of what the project entailed, but going in blind, I'm opting for something I feel comfortable with, which isn't to say I'm opposed to lowering my bid once I know what it is I'm modeling/rendering.
