First of all there is lot of research is going through regarding this topic. Secondly, It will require very rigorous and detailed middle level Image processing with some limitations. A system can Identify patterns from similar images but to build a generalized system who can work on any image is not possible. I would love to work on this project and seeking further details. My understanding is you are using existing libraries/open source for your existing captcha service you offer. Are you facing an issue with it?
