Client Server over FTP

Please provide some more details to clarify the scope. Do you want to make FTP server and client (desktop based software) in C# ?

ID : 5050710 Greetings, We are interested to work on this project, please find my comments inline with yours, 1) My project is basically a communication between a FTP client and a FTP server. .. =>Ok you want build the application which communicates with FTP server, we have to build this application from scratch? There is customization in work, so I assume you need both Client & Server application built. 2) i.e. FTP clients connect to the server on a fixed time and retrieve .. =>Ok what command list you want to retrieve? Can you explain in details? How many client you want to connect to server at any given time? Client will connect to server automatically on specific time? We may have to write timer based code to check the specified time has occurred and the client should try to connect. Should there be any error log in case the FTP client is unable to connect to server ? how many re-tries and attempts be allowed ? we can have settings file to keep such settings time between attempts and no. of retries etc.  Do we need to check whether the client is specified/expected client connecting to the server ? what parameters should be checked like client’s IP, user , name password will be there when client logs-in to FTP server. Please confirm. I assume, we will have to develop, both FTP Client and FTP Server for this project, since both of them have some customization. You mentioned that the command list for specific client will be different, so what parameter like UserName, Cl
