Followup: Let me know, which technology you want to use in your site? ---------------------- Hello, - As it will be a web based application, You can have database Mongo or Mysql. - The database has to be normalized first to remove redundancy . - HTML,JSP,CSS has to be used to design the front end or the web pages. Would be great, if you can share your views on: -> What will be the options in front end? -> Will there be any payment method to watch movies online? An online video streamer would need secure hosting of content with a standalone slim video player. If chosen, I can provide a standalone C++ player based on ffmpeg so that most of the formats supported by VLC could be played and the server side code in Python/PHP (as you prefer). I write maintainable commented code and usually use open source toolkits (Freedom & no need to pay MS!!).
