My ex-husband and I have been running our own graphic design and publishing business, Vinci-Designs & Publishing since 2005. I do transcription work every day through MTurk. I consistently receive an 8 or a 9 on a 9-point scale for my transcriptions. My bid is the minimum that has to be entered, but I would charge $15 for the 1-hour initial project and $15 for subsequent hour-long tapes. I would want to hear a sample of the audio before accepting the project.
