We are looking for Medical Transcriptionists with minimum 2 years of experience.
1. Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
2. Knowledge of medical transcription guidelines and practices.
3. Fast typing skills and responsive on skype.
4. Experience typing medical content. These are not hospital or doctors notes; they are advisory board meetings, interviews, focus groups, presentations.
Much of what we type is EXTREMELY medical and technical. It is imperative that you have medical typing experience as well as a medical spellcheck.
Experience transcribing multiple speakers and correctly identifying speakers' voices. We often transcribe focus groups, conferences, board meetings, et cetera.
Ability to research unfamiliar terms correctly.
Experience typing speakers with foreign accents.
Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple formats for a variety of clients.
Experience typing both clean read and verbatim transcripts is a plus.
