convert word doc to adobe pdf/x-1a:2001

need a word document converted to PDF/x-1a:2001 format fast. bought a copy of adobe x standard and can't seem to figure out where the preflight options went in the software to get this done. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
