Customizing Insert Statements (LINQ TO SQL)

I need a sample application to show a customized method for inserting. For this; will need to use LINQ TO SQL. You will have to create a database. Can have just one table called Test. Must use the code generation from the LINQ TO SQL. Must use VB.net Can use either Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Studio 2010. Will have one method that will insert an item into the database. Must fill in the code for the partial method for InsertTest(Instance as Test). The code for this will generate an ID (which is one higher than the highest number). The purpose of doing it through code for that instead of letting the database do it is I have an existing database where the ID field is not autoincremented (when I try to change it the database won't let me with sql server 2008). This is used for a database where I had to manually import from Access (so could not initially autogenerate the ids or the relationships would be broken). I attempted to fill in the method but when I do so; then nothing is inserted into the database. What is needed is to create the method and make sure it is inserted into the database (using linq; not with sql statements or even stored procedures). ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
