AutoIt (or other GUI Automation) to process sales order

AutoIt (or similar) which processes an order fulfillment screen Outline of the script: 1. Checks if a certain application is open, if not: open it 2. In this application; go to a certain menu 3. Open a given order (order number is passed as parameter to script) 4. For every entry (line) in the order, click a button 5. After clicking the button, a popup will appear with a number in it (can be copied to clipboard) 6. This number needs to be entered in a column in that particular entry line 7. Repeat 4-6 for every entry line 8. Calculate the total of the numbers in step 5-6 and check this with the second parameter that is passed to the script (first is order number); if these don’t match than reprocess the order; if it doesn’t match the second time; display a popup with an error and abort. 9. After the order is processed, it should activate a certain window (application that launched the script) Further notes: The window is scrollable and needs to be scrolled down until the end of the order. You know you have reached the end of the order when the line is blank (this is checkable) When the script is running, this should be clearly visible. (not just the icon in the taskbar) There is a Remote Desktop environment available to develop the application. We can also supply an Acronis image of the workstation if you want to set this up locally for faster development. Requirements: - Must run on 1024x768. - Windows XP (for sure), Vista and Windows 7. - fallback mechanisms in place to “regroup” when something goes wrong - Small status window which displays what the script is doing - professional coding (e.g. commented code for debugging purposes) - support in the future (fee to be determined)
