Scope of Work
1.0 Design & Website Image to Portray
· Very Professional.
· Clear and concise.
1.1 Colour Scheme
· Blue, Green and White.
· Maintain blue and green company theme on white background of existing site
· Align colours with company logo (exists currently) an
1.2 Font
· Calibri (body)
1.3 Images/Photographs
· Change existing photographs
· Common theme to be selected
· Images and photographs will be selected during draft phases.
· Maintain ‘North of England Excellence’ and ‘British Quality Foundation Member’ icons
1.4 Website External Icons
· Maintain ‘North of England Excellence’ and ‘British Quality Foundation Member’ icons and maintain external links.
· Remove ‘Buy Recycled’ icon and link.
1.5 Website Links
· Use blue (similar to company logo colour) and underlined text to show a ‘click’ on link.
1.6 Homepage
· Design page such that scrolling down is not required to see content.
1.7 Language
· English (UK)
2.0 Site Content
· See Web content draft 6 document.
· Change email contact address
· On existing ‘Contact Us’ page, change ‘Subject’ drop down menu options to ‘Consultancy’, ‘Training’, ‘General Enquiry’.
3.0 Site Structure
· See Excel File with layout (21pages with main headings having drop down menu at least 2 deep)

4.0 Website SEO & Google Position
· Maintain [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] page 1 status for a certain search term (i..e. use redirects if page names change)

· Training Course Pdfs
o Use existing Pdfs on training courses.

6.0 Future Developments
· Allow scope for blog page to be added
7.0 Browser Compatibility
Site should be compatible with all major web browsers (Firefox, IE v6 onwards, Chrome etc.)
8.0 Coding
Coding must be done to W3C standard using CSS tableless design. XHTML 1.0 Strict or Transitional would be required. Coding must be lightweight and not carry excessive unnecessary tags. Hand coded is a benefit, auto generated content is discouraged unless it is extremely lightweight (e.g. don't want lots of <div class="spacer">&nbsp;</div> rubbish please! ). You MUST specify if it will be hand coded or auto generated.
9.0 Quote to be with 2 options :
a) To include site graphic design from scratch to the above guidelines MUST BE HIGH QUALITY WITH EXCELLENT EXAMPLES READY TO BE SHOW ONLY COMPANIES WITH IMPRESSIVE PORTFOLIOS WILL BE CHOSEN.
b) Use an XHTML template (bought & chosen by ourselves) but modify a few of the templates graphics/colours to fit in with the brand

11. Home page will have a specific design. Other pages can maybe share 4 or 5 page designs.
12. Inclusive of all correspondence.
