Configure USPS in Magneto Store

I need some assistance configuring the USPS web tools into an existing Magneto store. We have already completed the activation process for the USPS production server. We need to make sure the website remains intact once it is complete. The original person that tried to install it didn't do something right and the template had errors. I need someone that has experience doing this.
