Hello, I've completed multiple projects like this, you can check my feedback and you will see. Because of Google's latest updates multiple websites were deindexed which can cause a partial penalty for the domains they were linking to. Also the keyword densities went a bit lower, so if your links have a higher density than 5% we have to treat that by disavowing some links that provide little to no value. I personally hate directories that are open to general public for free because they are filled with spam, so as some article directories, social bookmarks and so on. I have to take a look at your domain to see how we stand and see the number of backlinks, this will dictate my price and possible time frame. I have premium account to Moz, Ahrefs, MajesticSEO, SEMrush and a few other link sources so i'm sure that i will have acces to ~98% of all the links, this will include the links the you have access in your WMT console. The links from WMT are fundamental because i have to see how many of the links that i get are actually indexed and what anchor text they are using. Hello, I've lifted over 60 penalties so far (see my portfolio on my website) and I could help You with it. BUT Sending requests is a complete waste of time from my experience and disavow is enough. I've sent requests for my first 5 clients and for the rest not. Results were the same - penalty lifted (manual/algorithmic...). I had even messages from people that they have sent that requests but got then negative answers from google. Why? Because of link profile. That's another reason. I know what am I talking about but it's Your choice. I'll do a link audit and select what is bad.
