Background At CatN we build cloud web hosting products and services for our customers. Our objective is to offer a range of hosting platforms for our users to build their businesses, applications, and websites on. We are one of the first fully open-source hosting companies, using no closed source or paid for software in the products we build for our customers. This means we can be competitive on price but also that our customers are not going to be locked-in to our services. We value openness and transparency. CatN is presented as a premium brand. The CatN brand does not come across as a cheap and cheerful hosting company brand, however our products start at £5 per month which is competitive with our value-driven competitors. Our control panel is the single point of access to our product and service set. It was originally built very quickly to sit on top of our product and backend system APIs with little thought given to usability and how the application would scale. Now that CatN is ‘growing up’ we are undergoing a brand and messaging refresh. We want to engage with usability experts to ensure that the project will result in a more usable and simple control panel that will support our growth as a business and our product / service catalogue. Objectives - A complete redesign of the control panel front end (no build work required). - Support for multiple devices. - A strategy for seamlessly adding more products in the future. - Alignment with website visuals. - Maintain existing CatN company branding. - Reusable page templates to allow us to rapidly add more pages in the future. - Reduction in the use of complicated and bespoke illustrations. - Improve conversion rate for in app purchases. - Appeal to creative professionals: designers, developers, project managers, agencies. - Reflect contemporary design trends. Format - With our target market being creative professionals who value design, the control panel front end needs to make use of current design trends. - Mobile first design. - Flat UI with simple colour schemes. - Simple access to service data. - Quick routes to user registration / product creation.

Hi, we have read all the requirements and we are very confident to do this project from start till end. We definitely have some questions when we discuss project with you. Due to the change of bid system at freelancer.com, they ask freelancer to submit the project proposal at the time of bid. But it is not the right way, initially we can go through the requirements but we definitely need to spend time to write the proposal. Also they provide no place or private message unless you contact us, therefore we cannot submit the portfolio, examples site and our creative work. Also we do not post the portfolio and work examples publically to avoid other people copying it and claiming as their own. Thanks for the details. I have read the description. Here is my understanding & some questions, let me know if I am correct. 1. CatN is actually a product oriented company for its value driven customers & competitors. Do you have an existing website? 2. WHat type of products do you sell actually? I know the basic products like Cloud based hosting & all. I just need to know specific names, thats all. 3. Do you need a complete rebranding of the site? I mean complete new logo & new website as well? 4. Do you need a functional coded site as well? From your description it seems you need it. But the project heading says "Design a website Mockup". So I guess its not a design only project, correct? 5. What existing control panel you have that you want us to do redesign? 6. Some more explanation need on these following points: - Support for multiple devices. DO YOU MEAN RESPONSIVE DESIGN? - Alignment with website visuals. - Maintain existing CatN company branding. NEED TO SEE THE EXISTING BRANDING. Reusable page templates to allow us to rapidly add more pages in the future. PAGE ADDITION IS A CMS FUNCTIONALITY. WHAT IS THAT TO DO WITH PAGE TEMPLATES?
