Content Writing

Job Overview: Additional writers needed that will join our team and create great sports content regarding MLB, NBA, NFL, MMA, etc.

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING: Need writers that are dedicated for the love of sports and not after making a lot of money. We need the freelancer to be able to create great sports content at least twice a week with $.[url removed, login to view] per post. We'll need the articles at least 200-300 words or more. ($.50 for 200 words or more - $1 for 300 words or more) (If it's content in relation to video, insert the video with the content. If it's a GIF or a photo, insert the appropriate photo)

KEY SKILLS: IMPORTANT: Must know and understand fully the Wordpress format (If hired, will need knowledge of the platform). Will need freelancer to create content, log on to our websites wordpress, and submit article for our review. We will from there post the article if approved. (Freelancer will only be paid if work is approved by us.) Freelancer must have extensive knowledge of sports, especially NBA, NFL, and MLB as the basic sports. Knowledge in MMA, Boxing, and other sports a plus.

Candidate must possess great writing talent, no grammatical errors and must be able to write in blog format. The freelancer is responsible for looking on the internet for new updates and stories about sports for new content. Articles that are new and most recent are the type of content we are looking for. We will not accept content that is 2-3 days old if it pertains to a particular situation with an athlete or team. However, we will accept opinionated articles about certain sports topics.

With that said, if freelancer wants to create a list - Example: "Top 10 Famous Athletes," they are more than free to do so and can be submitted without having to follow the 2-3 day guideline. Freelancer must be a team player, a hard worker, detailed, ability to work on deadlines (if any), friendly, and most important, needs to be creative with the content. The right freelancer will enjoy working with us because we follow the same guidelines. We push for success and we strive for greatness. If you're the type of individual that is willing to work with us for the long term, grow with us, get to know us, then you're the person for the position.

ABOUT US: To provide some background about us. We are a sports blog that focuses on the current topics of sports. We are active in the industry. We are ranked around the top 1MM in the world, and 165K in the U.S. We want the best and we are looking to see if there are any writers that will first dedicate themselves to us. Again, we are not after writers that are for the MONEY. PAY:

We mentioned ($.50-$1.00) a post, but this fixed price could certainly change over time if we start to see that the posts are becoming viral. If the content of the freelancer begins to become popular, we will discuss to raise the freelancer's price per post. Also, we don't want applicants to be turned off by the price. Again, we are a legitimate sports source and we want to make sure that the freelancers are what we expect before we discuss future pricing. Again, all writers will be based on great content.

For us, we are looking for freelancers that's not after the money, but writers that have a passion for sports and people that want to join our team because they love writing. If you're a freelancer thats's mostly about the price per hour, then this position again is probably not for you.
