a couple of zencart mods & tweaks (quick look, column view)

This project is for a client of mine. His subject matter is probably a bit different than your 'typical project' He is selling vintage-looking greeting cards to upscale boutique shops around the nation, particularly aimed at the gay community. To be clear, there is nothing remotely pornographic involved, or else I wouldn't have commissioned the job. A portion of his proceeds are actually going toward an HIV fund, so it's for a great cause.
Anyway, this is the store in it's current state (I've already installed Zencart on the server):

As you can see I need to install a couple of mods to get closer to the above example - one to get the 'quick look' hover feature, one to get the 'column view' (versus 'row view' which is the default), as well as the 'Listing Subheadings' to separate the series a, series b, and series c sections. I believe 'listing subheadings' is still in development but available in Beta with no known issues. Regarding the ridiculous load time of the store in it's current state, I DO have slimmed down Jpegs all of the products (in the 15-20 KB range) I just haven't plugged them in yet.
I believe these are all fairly basic mods/tweaks, so I'm assuming it won't be more than a few hours to someone who knows what they're doing...let see what we can get going! Thanks.
