Greetings, I will be glad to inform you that currently i am involve in similar android application development so there won’t be any delay in development and delivery. I am outlining my understanding and my approach to accomplish the job. Task 1- triggers a notification whenever it detects a new file is added to a specific folder in android Solution – I will create an background service and use fileObserver class for that specific folder to watch activity like new files added. Task 2 - it checks whether the same file already exists elsewhere (in a public cloud folder) Solution – i will make a api call to search and match the files on the public cloud. Task 3 - gives a notification if a match is found Solution – NotificationBuilder can do this job My Questions – Please be specific about cloud folder.
