Need consultation on tech solution for app to read/OCR shipping labels

We have developed a website and mobile app that allows condos to manage various aspects of managing a condo building. We have a receiving module that allows for receiving packages using a barcode scanner and capturing basic info like tracking id and courier. We want to add to that functionality and allow someone to take a photo (or barcode scan?) of ANY shipping label (most commons ones in US are USPS, UPS, Fedex, Amazon, DHL) with a mobile app and from it extract the recipient name and address, and ideally also the sender name. It's quite simple but I'd like to consult with someone who has experience so that we choose the best solution in terms of balance of development and cost without having to hit any bumps in the road with my dev team. My guess is that if you already have experience with this, then it would simply be a single conversation to ask any further questions and offer your advice. So maybe a flat fee bid makes sense in this case? Up to you. I am open to your suggestion so that you feel this is worth a few minutes of your time.
