Good day!

We are looking for a skilled developer to help us complete an existing project.

The project requires an application to be coded for any Windows OS from Windows 7 and above.

The application will be installed on every users workstation and monitor any network or locally installed printers on the workstation.

When installing the application, the user will need to enter a username and password to authenticate with our cloud API.

When a user then prints, from any application and file type, the application will prompt the user whether the print job is to be billed to a client/matter.

If it is to be billed, the user is provided a list of client names/matter numbers to search/filter and select. This list will be downloaded at the time of the print from a cloud API. We would consider caching this information, however the file would need to be encrypted due to the contents of the file.

Once the print job is completed, the application will upload specific metrics about the print job to the cloud API for reporting.

Metrics include:

User

Document name/type

Printer name

Total single sided mono pages

Total single colour mono pages

Total duplex mono pages

Total duplex colour pages

An admin console should also be available allowing for specific printers from the 'pop-up' prompts such as Virtual/PDF printers etc.

It would also be very helpful for the application's configuration can be exported and uploaded to the API so when another user from that company installs the application, it will download their configuration as well.

Application should be branded to our company and can be deployed via an msi via command-line.

We have a budget for this project, which will be discussed in further detail.
