Hi, I have many years experience in the design of microcontroller and microprocessor based systems and in more recent times I have been using the Arduino platform intensively. Your application appears to be reasonably straightforward, and well within the capacity of the Arduino system. My bid is based on doing the design and programming work while leving you to procure the hardware required and hooking it up. This will avoid delays and is quite simple to do. Thisngs that would need to be resolved would be what the exact communications protocol used by your choice of weight scales and how much power you intend to control with the relays. If you wanted to have all the equipment purchased, assembled and tested that could also be arranged. If you wanted to go further and develop the project as a product I can also help there. Hi. Interesting project. I congratulate you on your initiative. I would like to help you with your project. I did a project very similar to yours one time ago. This was a arduino that was connected to a load cell to sense the weight of 3 different products and according to measurement a LED glowed with different color. In your case we will use a digital scale and create an algorithm to determine the range of weights to know which relay will be on. I can design your hardware and Arduino code.
