MyVip club is a subscription service that offers amazing deals on popular products like Uber and Amazon.
We are looking for a writer who can explain our new products in a creative, clever, and professional way. The writing styles should be similar to those found on “[url removed, login to view]” and “TheSkimm.com.”
Writing Content Requirements
Write like you’re speaking with a smart friend. Conversational but with proper grammar and not a lot of slang. Intelligent with short paragraphs, simple sentences:
Authentic but not boring
Conversational but with proper grammar
A warm tone but not vulgar
Sometimes sarcastic and witty, but serious when needed
Intelligent and not with an obnoxious amount of slang
Emotional but with sound logic
Flows like slippery slope. Every sentence makes you want to read the one after the other and has a tight narrative
Content should evoke Shock and awe, desire, humor, curiosity
Writing should be authentic, funny, casual and exciting. Our focus is on sharp words that cut into the reader.
Job Application
We are featuring 2 new products.
1.) FlyBy: sells supplements to help eliminate hangovers.
2.) MealPal: is a monthly lunch subscription service where you can pick up a daily lunch from restaurants for less than $6/meal.
Your objective is to write a post that highlights each product. Your job is to convey the value of the product and why our subscribers would find it appealing.
You are writing to an audience who is unfamiliar with each product. The content style should relate to the requirements above. Be creative, funny, think outside the box, stand out!
You will need to write 1 pitch/description for each product below (2 total pitches). Each product description should be a minimum of 150 words. You can find more information on on the products website.
