Ok, so from what I'm thinking, here are couple of possible solutions to the problem, since it seems like a common fix: 1. Introduce a fallback (there is none at the moment) 2. Introduce handshake - if that is suppose to be a mocked endpoint from which you're trying to stream data. 3. Enable timeout/thread based re-connection attempts with a threshold e.g. 3 attempts to reconnect & then it fails with error 4. Try-catch-finally block usage to log errors There are other things possible too, but have to discuss it in detail with you for better clarity. Drop me a message if this sounds interesting!
