Hi, Greetings, I am a Materials and Metallurgical Engineer and I have 12 years experience in steel Industries. I had worked in Melting, Degassing, Refining and subsequent process of Steel. I had handled chemical analysis for various materials in order to maintain the chemistry of the material. Iam also have rich experience in other heat treatment processes like Through Hardening, Induction Hardening, Nitriding , Nitro- carburising, salt bath hardening , Normalizing , Annealing , Tempering and Stress relieving as well as process validation and Tempering process validation through a 9-point location study. I have implemented CQI-9 in the heat treatment shop including the carburization process. I was involved in process controls like carbon potential, temperature uniformity , time , quench bath temperature and recording of process parameters. I also had rich experience in Hardness measurement ( Rock well Hardness, Vickers Hardness ), Microstructure study before and after tempering process, Case depth measurement , Decarb measurement, Carbide network check. Iam having rich experience in Metallurgical laboratory, Mechanical laboratory ( For Tensile testing) and Chemical testing ( Checking of chemical composition of Raw materials ).
