I think I would be a key candidate for this post due to my background as an academic researcher and content writer. As a researcher I have spent years working with large amounts of information and turning it into something coherent, interesting and compelling.
I am new to the Freelancer site but am not new to professional writing, and travel writing. I have been writing professional content for the last 12 years, including articles for travel sites, ghost writing manuscripts, company content and government documents.
One of the primary reasons I think I would be a nice fit for your post is although I am not a San Diego native I can take your information and turn it into something which is going to keep a listener captivated and intrigued.
You had mentioned 'Award Winning' and one of the things that struck me about this was I felt you clearly wanted this content to be something new, interesting, that would stand out from those around it. I feel we can do that together by using some key techniques. One of the things I think will do that is about creating a sense of place.
I will work to create that distinct sense of San Diego, what makes it unique and undeniably breathtaking. By using not only the history of San Diego, but the knowledge of our typical listener or reader we can create something which will hold them captivated. A story rather than a guidebook.
That's what I would recommend for your project.
