Hi there!
I am interested in writing medical articles for your practice.
English is my native language, and although I am from New Zealand (where British English is used), I have experience with writing in American English.
I have completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences, majoring in Population Health. Although the proposal specifically mentions that there is no need for previous medical knowledge, I do feel as though it might help! I studied the translation of health information, so that it becomes easier to understand for the average layperson, and still remain captivating to the specific target audience. For the past two years I have also volunteered at a local hospital to improve the health literacy of the information that is given to patients, to ensure it is understandable.
I have experience with search engine optimization for NGO websites, however not specifically for blog articles. But I am willing to put in the time and effort to learn more about keyword optimization, metatags, etc. I am a quick learner and I believe that this lack of knowledge would not stop me from producing quality work.
I am aware that should I be successful, that this will be an ongoing project, with an ideal output of 2-3 articles per week, and I am confident that I can deliver that.I am also aware that the trial would be for $20 per article, with space to negotiate later based on performance.
Please reach out if you have any questions regarding the proposal.
Regards,
Abigail
