50 Content Pages

This project is to create 51 blog posts containing summarized content from this website www.dsireusa.org. Each blog post will be of each U.S. state and District of Columbia. It will be made using wordpress and so you should be familiar with its functions. We will have it set up for you to use. You will be tagging and categorizing each page.

## Deliverables

Each title should be "[State name] Solar Incentive Programs" and the post will be describing what programs are provided by the state. This website [url removed, login to view] lists all the alternative energy programs. This search [url removed, login to view] shows all the solar initiatives per state. Using only the solar initiatives list, you will summarize the programs listed for the blog post. Each state provides different programs with some more valuable than others. Emphasis should be prioritized like this 1) Rebate programs, 2) Tax credits 3) Sales tax and property tax exemptions, 4) Other tax incentives, 5) Loan programs, 6) then whatever is left. The key is to take all the information and try to convey the savings involved with these programs. Focus should be to list dollar values. Here is an example [url removed, login to view] You will notice that there is a text box at the top of the page with a few key lines as summary. We will send you a text file that has these for each state. It would be best to copy past the code from the example and replace the text. You will also notice at the end there is a link back to dsire website as our citation. The link back should be of the states page. You can get there by using this [url removed, login to view] then by choosing Photovoltaic for Technology and then choosing state. Example. Alabama [url removed, login to view] Last note, some states have no incentive or as little as one. For these the focus should be on Federal Programs and just to simply state no programs are currently available. To Summarize. 1. We will provide you with a login to our site. 2. Create a post, add title, check the category check box, and tag. 3. Review then summarize the state incentives from the dsireusa website. I will also provide a map for reference. 4. Add a unique image from our media gallery 5. At the end of the project when all states are complete we need a text file edited with all the new pages created.
