CS2 Final Project Redo chapter 6 problem 7 to create an online counselor for the Computer Science department at PCC. You have to do every step exactly the way it is asked and call variables and function names exactly what they are called here. You will receive a question from the user. Create a file which has as many answers as possible. Try to think ahead and come up with the questions someone may ask. Parse the questions to find keywords. Create a vector called answersVector to store all answers in your file. Create another vector of record (structure) called KeywordsVector containing keyword and key. Note: Keyword – The words that are chosen from the answers. Key – Reference to the line in which answers contain the keyword. You will have a function called parser which will parse your answers to words greater than 2 characters. Remove common keywords such as where, when, what how… Keys will refer to the answers in the first vector. For example if you have “Computer Science department is located at R322”. You will have 5 keywords with key 0 for first answer in the answersVector. Sort KeywordsVector in alphabetic order. Ask user a question – Parse question, using the same function parser for keywords – look through your KeywordsVector and create percentage of possibilities for keys. Your search function has to stop if it knows the keyword does not exist in the rest of KeywordsVector. For example, if I am looking for a keyword “course” as soon as I get to any words greater than course (like department), I have to stop the search . Search function has to be able to look for multiple keywords till it returns -1 or end of the vector. You should have start_index to let function know where the starting search starts. – You may have zero to many keys depending to user’s question. For example keyword computer might show up for keys (indices) 0, 1, 25,80 and keyword department may show up for keys(indices) 0, 13,88. Since 0 has showed up twice the answer in index zero is most likely the correct answer 1. Display the highest possibility 2. If you have multiple possibilities choose one randomly with a message that says , “I’m not sure if I understood your question correctly but this is the closest answer I have for you 3. If you cannot come up with an answer in your list. a. Ask the user for email address and let her/him know you will get back to her/him with correct answer b. Save email address, possibly first name and last name with the question in a file called separated with spaces c. update your database with new answer d. For extra credit – create an email and send it to someone who may have the answer and then update your database 4.
