I want to compile the data for a mapping application in An Excel spreadsheet. The job involves transferring the address information on the attached word document and entering it in columns on a spreadsheet. Do not cut and paste. I want the data in upper and lowercase letters – NOT ALL CAPS! Then I want each address geo-coded and the latitude and longitude entered in the same spreadsheet. I want this done for 38 listings.
These are the steps:
1) Enter the data for each listing in the spreadsheet – one column for the name, another for the street address, another for the city /town, another for the state, another for the phone number.
2) Go to this site [url removed, login to view] and enter the address for each listing in the search box. Press “Go” and get the longitude and latitude for the address This long / lat data should be numbers with several decimal places and will look like this: 33.615817,-117.874503. Put the longitude in one column and the latitude in another -- including any minus (- ) or plus (+) signs).
3) Do this for all 38 TK listings.
