We got raw data in PDF format. we need to extract it from pdf file then convert it into XML as well as excel format so as to client can feed those data in database like SQL Server 2005, 2008-R2. We have chunk of pdf files on daily basis with 24 hour ETA for that at the end of day it would be uploaded on ftp site using filezilla. Proposed Process : 1. Process files for OCR. 2. Get files with our in house software. 3. Software has some scripting as per client requirement so as to remove unwanted data. 4. Files goes to QC stage for verification 5. Sanity Test for final data. 6. Upload to ftp site.

I have worked on different vendor audits for US and Canadian Clients. Their data are mostly into PDF. I do OCR and then use either Monarch or ACL to convert those files into Excel or Text so as to continue with further analytic. It would be great if I could see a sample pdf file.
