Provide support for the claims payment operations in the Managed Care Department. Responsible for manual entry of claims into Tapestry and overseeing outgoing and incoming mail related to claims operations.
Core Job Responsibilities
Open and process incoming mail.
Process paper claims according to scanning policy.
Enter all paper claims into Tapestry. Maintain accuracy standards.
Process outgoing mail, working with ACCESS mailroom.
Answer phones and appropriately answer or triage vendor and member concerns.
Assists in organizing and maintaining files and keeping records up to date
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Preferences
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year Data entry experience required, preferably with claims or Epic/Tapestry
1 year Customer service experience preferred
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Products; specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook, required
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
