Optimize NiFi data flow

I have a data flow setup using Apache NiFi (with Hortonworks Data Flow). It is processing around 100 messages per second but I am seeing high latency and poor speeds. I want someone to optimize the data flow and speed it up to <50 ms latency end to end.

Must have expertise in Apache NiFi and the Hortonworks Data Flow stack. Bonus if you have experience in developing dashboards for the realtime data. If so I have additional work to grant.
