I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too).
I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc.
I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch.
1 - for a bait boat, the most important thing is the payload and the travel range (which it depends on the remote controller)
2 - also important, is the opening mechanism for releasing the bait where necessary, without sinking the boat :(
3 - I will choose a flat quill, an O-ring sealing for the propeller shaft (not a stern tube), an existing 8 channels remote controller module, and a sliding door for the releasing mechanism
4 - how would you like to have the boat made? 3d printed, molding, metal sheets?
5 - what the payload should be(in grams or cubic cm)
6 - would you need other stuff alongside the boat? (shelf support, charging dock, canopy, carrying handle, etc)
7 - did you have a dimensional limit?
