We need to build a spreadsheet on Excel that will allow us to:
Quickly calculate the annual fees charged for several institutions (schools), and their forecast for the next 20 years. We have set a standard inflation rate per annum (5.18%). We also provide the annual fees charged for 3 institutions in 2017. The Excel document must meet the following specs:
- 5 sheets in total: 1 sheet containing the Annual Fees of all institutions for 2017. We provide information of 3 institutions. The document must enable us to add more institutions and fees along the way. If necessary, one sheet per institution can be considered. Whatever is easier for us to forecast fees.
- 4 sheets for possible customer's scenarios: 1. One child, 2. Two children, 3. Three children, 4. Four children (we provide an example of this one). As it is in the example, each of these sheets must contain:
* Table with fees per child and per year at a selected institution.
*Drop-down option in the table for us to select the institution, the level and the year per child. (Some comments in the example sheet have been inserted).
* The table must display the fee forecast given the year and school selected, based on the current fee (2017 fee) + an increase of 5.18% per year.
*A column chart displaying the annual cost per child and per year. An example is included as well.
- As part of the deliverable, we request a brief step by step explanation on how to add more institutions' fees along the way and how to replicate formulas or procedures.
