excel macro paste picture help

I am trying to use VBA to paste a picture. The picture is taken from a formula which is the result of a calculation. The formula results in a number other than zero, but when I copy it and paste it, then picture shows up as zero, like the macro has not worked. When I step through the macro, it looks like the calculations are working, but the picture does not paste the calculated number.
