Breathe Safety has a testing laboratory for which we have uncertainty budgets for all the tests we do. These are currently in Excel but require updating every time a piece of equipment is re-calibrated because each re-calibration returns a slightly different error which then feeds into the uncertainty budget. This is spread across 10 separate files. We would be looking for one combined spreadsheet with a front page that contains the details for each piece of equipment. We would like to be able to enter a figure in this front page that then copies to relevant cells within other sheets and automatically re-calculates overall uncertainty figures. (I.e. one piece of equipment may be used for several different tests so any changes would need to be reflected in all the uncertainty budgets of the tests for which this equipment is used.
