It is assumed that prospective developers have surveyed the site in its' current form and have properly assessed the outlined criteria needed to complete each task. Developers should be proficient in: web scraping, data mining and .xls/.csv. Developers should be willing to communicate daily, and take calls whenever necessary to expedite completion of tasks. Developers must be available full-time until ALL tasks are complete, and be willing to strictly adhere to time estimates, with 20% penalty for work delivered one week late. Spreadsheets must be troubleshot and checked for any bugs or missing data before individual task-milestones are released. • Spreadsheets must be properly labeled, and must be submitted for review, prior to the release of milestone(s). Project Details: This project is for web scraping 2 small brand catalog. The following is needed in 2 spreadsheets for each site (4 spreadsheets total):
1) All Brands and their profile info: title, images, site links, about text, etc
2) All products and their profile info: title, images. site links, about text, etc.
Spreadsheets must then be combined and checked for duplicate data. All products in 2nd spreadsheet must have a "Brand" column linking the Product to its manufacturer.
Note: Each catalog has around 500 brands, and 2K-3K products.
Note: This project is extremely TIME SENSITIVE, and must be completed in under one week. Also, an NDA must be signed in order to discuss details.
