Southern Manatee flash intro

I am having a website built for the fire department that I work at. I would like to have a 5-10 sec flash intro made for the site. I do have some artwork I would like to use in the intro as well. In the attached files you will see the acronym that represents my fire department in a crusty, burnt lava type text effect. I would like the intro to begin with the plain black textured background (behind the text). Then slowly (over the course of the 5-10 seconds) the crusty burnt letters "SMFR" burn through the background to the final picture. I am open to any creative ideas that might make it more catchy. I will also be attaching some audio to the intro as well. Please let me know if there is any more information you would like.
