Semper Divina needs a logo created for branding purposes. This logo will appear on the website, in PR submissions, in advertisements, and so forth. The winning freelancer must submit an original - I repeat AN ORIGINAL design. The freelancer must relinquish all rights to his or her work and understand that once completed - Semper Divina will own the copyright to the work including any derived works made from the image.
Again, all aspects of the logo design must be original work and freelancer must be able to permit the copyright transfer to Semper Divina. Payment will not be provided until copyright paperwork is completed once design is accepted. Contract has been attached for review. Please read over and make sure you are comfortable with signing this legally binding contract before submitting bids. Contract will only need to be signed once logo design is accepted. Again, copyright transfer contract must be signed prior to payment.
Make sure you agree with the information below before bidding. This is a synopsis of the contract. Winning Freelancers name will take the place of the word "Freelancer".
"Freelancer" grants to Semper Divina the rights and transfer of all interest and claim to Semper Divina and the related design files.
Copyright to the submitted work is hereby transferred to Semper Divina, effective immediately, including, and without limitation, the right to publish the work in whole or in part in any and all forms and media, now or hereafter known.
Freelancer retains the following rights in regard to the material:
The right to display the material in the portfolio.
Freelancer also warrants that the designs provided are entirely that of the freelancer and is aware that misrepresentation of ownership will result in potential damages and costs.
NOW - what we are looking for:
Semper Divina is a online women's clothing and accessory store. Semper Divina (translated into Always Divine) is centered around the concept of a woman being a goddess in her own right. A diva for the new age. We need a logo that demonstrates this.
