Hello, all! I have just written my first novel - a 97,000 word inspirational fiction - and have decided to go the route of self publishing through Amazon KDP. I have a vision for what I'd like the cover to look like, and I'm looking for a talented photographer and/or graphic designer to help make it a reality! I have in mind a visual of a modern coffee shop with a green and white awning, patio style seating, (maybe a cute colorful bike propped against the building), but most importantly, two girls having their drinks at one of the tables whose features would reflect their character description. On the awning, there'd be cursive letters that say "Edified" (the title of the book). I am open to both real life photography for the cover or an artistic graphic design, but I'd of course want to see your personal graphic design style first to make sure we are a good match. Although I'm currently loving the visual I described, I am not dead-set on that for a cover and am looking forward to working with a talented individual who can make recommendations and offer suggestions for a pleasing book cover. You would, of course, need to format the image to fit both an e-book and a print book by the end of our working together. My hope is that this can be a fun project for the both of us!
